Welcome to the OOC info post for the 4th wall event crossover with Fated Hearts! As doing a crossover is a new thing for both games, this info post is here to help!
For this crossover, threads can be played in The Space Between for Missrecalled or here in the Fated Hearts log community. Please make sure you follow the rules for whichever game's community you are posting in! Also the event functions slightly differently between the two games, so please give the event posts a read. Neither is very long, thankfully.
So... why a crossover event then, if the event will react slightly different in each place? Great question, thanks for asking!
There are a number of reasons to do this as a shared event. For one, both games have small but awesome communities and there is some overlap between them, so this can hopefully bring players closer together! For another reason, this way we can advertise two small games together and hopefully build both communities! For a plot based reason, well... Sephiroth being in both games (2 of him in Fated Hearts even!) trying to fix the mess that brought everyone to those worlds gainst their wills... As many characters in Missrecalled have learned, sometimes mixing magic doesn't make things better...
And for the main reason? It sounds like fun!
For those of you already in Missrecalled, you may notice something else that is new! The Space Between! This is a new IC community that will be used for specific events. What kinds of events are those? Well, crossover events, 4th walls, and events where people in Auradon and people on the Isle might be in the same logs. This is a new space and its use cases may be adapted as we go. But since this is a community that can be posted to without joining it, it should make 4th walls especially easier to play with! Also, the mod-squad is still working on the colour scheme for readability. Please feel free to leave feedback below!

Here is some info that will hopefully help you guys out!
♥ Fated Hearts has open apps with no invites and is currently an auto accept game with easy AC.
♥ Missrecalled has apps open until October 30th 11:59pm EST, with apps to reopen after the November anniversary event, so in early December. The game is invite only, however all current players have been given a bunch of extra invites this month to balance apps being closed in November and to try and make sure we have a good sized player base for the ambitious anniversary event that the Mod Squad has been working on. We are currently a check in only game; and the Mod Squad is willing to work with people who miss a check in, really want to app after a deadline has closed, or otherwise would like a little leeway. Also if you want to app, but don't know how to get an invite, feel free to DM this journal for help with that.
♥ In Fated Hearts you are exploring Gaia, and there are a lot of Final Fantasy elements, as well as Kingdom Hearts ones, but you don't have to know either series to play and enjoy!
♥ In Missrecalled we are a Disney based game, specifically the Isle Of The Lost novels and the Descendants movies, with a bit of an AU twist. As with Fated Hearts, though, you do not need to know the source material to play in the game! We also have a few slow burn metaplots in the works, and a lot of timing is player action driven.
♥ Two quick rule things to note for Missrecalled 4th wall: Even though this is a dreamrealm plot, the swearing filter is still in effect - attempts to swear will be comically altered, much to the character's confusion/frustration; have fun with it! The other note is bodily stuff, please no posts describing anyone changing or shirtless (or lacking other basic clothing) regardless of gender or a lack thereof if their body is at all humanoid, and romance things past kissing need to FTB or be taken to journals. Observing these rules is very much appreciated! On the other hand... As a dreamscape, there is no power nerf in this event other than that which would violate another player's consent/agency and/or game breaking powers. So you can't teleport them all home through the dream... but you absolutely can summon that 25 foot golem!
♥ In both games we are very backtagging friendly! And in Missrecalled time is a bit... wibbly wobbly... to allow for everyone to get a chance to post in events, even when RL is chewing them up. With that, please note that even though the event has an end date in each game (For Missrecalled that date is TBA, as it will be the start date of the anniversary event) you are absolutely 100% welcome to keep participating in the event beyond that date! And unlike the TDM actions in the 4th wall can carry over to the actual game if you app in, if all involved players want them to!
